Another Day in Beautiful New Jersey

This is the post I meant to write last night, but I was too tired and fell asleep before I got around to it!

I suppose you could day it's a cozy kind of day. A sweater day, thick tights, warm skirts and all. The kind of day that has you think about fireplaces and hot cups of cocoa in a fantasy way, because it's not that cold. But it's cold enough, perhaps for a favorite hat to protect your hair from the mist. That's what I like about November time... Wait! How could I forget it's June. And it's rainy, and it's cold. I know, I know, you've heard it all before. And again I remind myself I am NOT in California or Jerusalem ever more. Still at least I'm not dying from the humidity. And I have an opportunity to shoot some pictures of my finally finished, finally blocked sock (yes, singular).

Longbourn Sophisticate is lovely indeed. And fits much better than I'd dreamed!

And dare I say, makes we want to take up socks again! Of course, first sock up is the mate to Django, but I'm inspired, I say. Inspired!

The sock is beautiful, and I feel you on the weather. We had a similar day in NEPA yesterday, and it almost ruined my brother's high school graduation!

I am so sick of the rain in NY. Ugh.

That sock is so amazing, I love that pattern and you picked out great yarn to show it off.
