Cocktails, Anyone?

Greetings from Miami Beach!

Yes, the Tequila Sunrise photo was partly in honor of my quick jaunt down south to get some sunshine and see my family! My mom and grandma just took a cruise from LA to Fort Lauderdale. My aunt and uncle flew out from London. So now we've all met up in Miami and I am here to join in the fun. Last weekend was my mom's birthday so we have a lot to celebrate! Of course I'm really writing this Thursday afternoon in dreary, rainy New Jersey, so don't expect to hear from me until my return next Wednesday.

But what else does that Tequila Sunrise represent? Why, my new color palette for the first of two planned Charlotte's Webs!

Of course the weather didn't participate and I had to take an indoor photo. Forgive me! But look at this sunshiny goodness:

Citrine, Pop Rocks, Firebird, Scaponia and Bleeding Hearts. I think this one is going to work folks!

The other palette I'll share when I get back.

And what project(s) will I bring for my vacation knitting? The answer may surprise you. You see I am feeling the need to clean house. To work through my WiPs and enter into Spring light of heart. Remember this?

I'll give you a hint. I haven't worked on it since September! Does this help?

Yes, it's Jeanie. It's a little further along than this picture shows. The ball of yarn is finished and I'm ready to join the second ball. I have elected to bring this as my sole project (ok, with the little exception of Rosamond for the plane). I hope I get some good knitting time in while I watch the Palm Trees sway.

Wow, that's some beautiful yarn right there. Can't wait to see that turned into a Charlotte's Web!

Those yarns are gorgeous! Are you working them all into one piece? I think they would look fantastic all knit together.
