Crazy and the Killer Car

Having the mother around for a week is both wonderful and crazy all at the same time. Amongst all the spoiling and scolding, we've been tooling around in the Car of Doom (generously loaned by a friend, so I'm not complaining. Not too much anyway.) In the meantime, I'm up to my elbows in preparing Shalosh Seudos for Mommy and a few friends.

The menu:
Challah (this time I baked 1 regular recipe and 1/2 recipe of whole wheat. We'll see how that comes out)
Chocolate Chip Banana Bread (1/2 regular, 1/2 whole wheat flour and whole heck of a lot of bananas)
3 Bean salad
Black Bean and Corn salad
Orzo and Tuna salad
Cabbage salad with soup nuts and sunflower seeds
Deviled Eggs
Sweet and Sour Carrot salad
and a regular green salad

Should be good.

Mommy is off Monday night. Things should get back to normal then. I hope.

so, what exactly is normal for you ?

It was nice reading and catching up with what's happening with you. Think of you often, but just don't get to putting fingers to keyboard!

No photos of you . .
lots of love,
Annie
