The Big and Little of it

Little bundles of joy abound. I'm only just keeping up with the birth rate! I've conquered the BSJ and the FBS, so when my cow-workers wife gave birth to a baby boy a few weeks ago I knew it was time for Baby Yours. Stephanie Pearl-McPhee's (aka The Yarn Harlot) pattern is clearly written and easy to follow. The moss stitch seems not quite so endless

since the front and back panels incorporate a nice cable and twisted stitches,

plus garter stitch borders.

Besides, the whole thing is so tiny, how crazy can the moss stitch make you?

The truth is, this little darling is now finished. Seamed and blocking. Buttons must purchased but that is just a formality. (Final pics and stats as soon as I get those buttons sewn on!)

Although the weather is once again dreadful, yesterday was lovely indeed. I took these pictures late yesterday morning, after a good walk with Blue Fingers and before coffee with Madstitcher1. The final sleeve was finished on the way home from a BBQ at Blue Finger's parents yesterday evening and seaming finished soon after I got home from work.

And while I wait for the next little bundle to appear on the scene, I'm back to big things. Big wrappy, shawly things. And won't you be surprised when you find which one!
