Leaving on a Jet Plane

Getting ready to head out. I have the long journey before the journey to get through first. Thank goodness I am comfortable enough with the pattern that I think I can knit on the bus rides to the airport. Then all that time after check in...

So here we are at this moment. 15 more rows of the leg repeat and it's on to the heel flap. (For those of you keeping score, there are 20 rows per repeat. Although the pattern is written for 4 repeats I had serious doubts that 350 yds of my luscious Sundara Sock would have gotten me through, so I dropped it down to 3.)

See you on the other side...

I'm here, reading daily, but not posting much during this crazy guest-filled summer. :O) Bon Voyage! And as my grandmother always said to us, "Safe home." The sock is gorgeous, and I can't wait to see a pair finished. Happy trip, happy knitting! samm
