The New Way to Stash Enhance

Didn't y'all hear? There's a new game everybody's playing. Everybody that can get their hands on an elusive hank of Sundara Yarn that is. Elusive not only because it's flying out the door before you can say PayPal, but because many colors are one-off, limited edition runs. Or from the Season's Club (which is not YET in my budget.)

Yes, Sundara, the brilliant (and very nice) independent dyer of magical yarns can hardly keep up with the demand. And those who are lucky enough to have some are holding on to it with both fists. Unless of course you have something to trade with. Just check out the ISO thread over at Ravelry's Sundara Yatn Love board. Not even cash will do most of the time. So imagine my surprise when someone reached out to me about trading my Kelly Green over Glacier.

"Hmmm," I thought. "Maybe," I considered. I made a counter offer on a few different colorways but those weren't available for trade. So I politely declined. But the seeds of trade had been planted. And then the VERY NEXT DAY some was looking to trade her Blue Grape Hyacinth. A color from before my time, but one that transfixed me through the computer screen. I offered up that same Kelly Green over Glacier and the deal was done.

The yarn is enchanting... its depth of color...
and its squishable softness...
and its excellent stitch definition. Just look at Esther and Embossed Leaves and you'll see what I mean.

So once that package arrived, I never looked back. Perhaps Pomatomus is finally in reach.

Gorgeous yarn! I don't have any Sundara's yarn, but I always look at it - it is gorgeous!
