Who am I?

I just took a look at (fellow Avodat Yad group member) Rebekka's new blog and HAD to take the "Which Austen Hero Are You" quiz. I have a cherished, well-thumbed copy of Jane Austen: The Complete Novels and though I still haven't made it through Mansfield Park or Northanger Abbey I do rank Austen up there as one of my favorite authors. I guess it is the romantic in me. Well I was pleased as punch to see the results: You are Elizabeth Bennet of Pride & Prejudice! You are intelligent, witty, and tremendously attractive. You have a good head on your shoulders, and oftentimes find yourself the lone beacon of reason in a sea of silliness. You take great pleasure in many things. You are proficient in nearly all of them, though you will never own it. Lest you seem too perfect, you have a tendency toward prejudgement that serves you very ill indeed.

Take the test and tell me who you are!

I am Elizabeth Bennet!

Take the Quiz here!

Of course, this test reminded me of another I had taken some years ago: The Dead Russian Composer test. At the time I was working in the JDC's Russian department which included 4 or 5 trips per year to different locations in the Former Soviet Union. So this test really appealed to me. I think the first time I took I may have been Mussorgsky but I took it again just moments ago and learned:

If I were a Dead Russian Composer, I would be Sergei Rakhmaninov.

I lived in the early Twentieth Century and was well known for my compositional, conducting, and piano skills, yet I am melancholy despite this talent. My famous works include my nearly-impossible piano concerti.
Who would you be? Dead Russian Composer Personality Test

Thus I decided to go for threefer and took The Simpsons' personality test. Turns out I am Lisa Simpson.

Find out which character from The Simpsons you are most like at: http://www.matthewbarr.co.uk/simpsons/

Is this the trifecta of personality tests? I can't answer that. What is eerie about these tests is that Elizabeth Bennet IS my favorite Austen character, I mean I could never be an Emma, Jane Bennet or one of the Dashwood girls. Rachmoninoff IS one of my favorite composers and I suppose of all the Simpsons and I AM most like Lisa. But, the question remains; what do Elizabeth Bennet, Rachmoninoff and Lisa Simpson have in common, besides me?

I don't have to take the test. I am SURE I am Fanny from Mansfield Park!

Alas, I took the test but my low self esteem kept me from being Elizabeth Bennett, oh I how I do feel like her though, at least the description that it reads. My journal has who I am, if you scroll a bit. (orlop.livejournal.com)
