Is There Anybody Out There
Hey, it's me, with just a quickie, writing to you live from NYC! He he. I made it even if Delta didn't want to let me on the plane. Some where between not issuing e-tickets for coach class and my paper ticket not actually being sent to me in Israel, I ended up sitting on the floor at the Tel Aviv airport while international conference calling went on. I finally ended up with a special, special, special dispensation and after paying a $100 fee for a missing ticket report was allowed on the plane. I got to the gate just as they were boarding. The last time I flew out of the new airport the person behind the counter was so slow, that by the time I checked in they were already boarding the flight. That means I never had an opportunity to check out the new duty free shops! Oh well. I am glad to report the flight itself was uneventful and I arrived safe and sound.
Off to SF on Friday morning and then a bit of settling in until it's time to move again. In the meantime, I am proud to say that my Arietta sleeve is almost complete!!! Yes, after almost six knit free weeks, I picked up the needles and got to work. Of course if I had really, really read the instructions first I would have started with the back because the sleeve is supposed to start it's decrease section at the same row as the armholes in the back. So sleeve is on a holder and I have cast on the back. More knitting and pics when I hit Mill Valley.
Until then...

Glad you made it on the plane! I finally finished my Arietta a couple of days ago - you're going to love it. It's such a great sweater. :) Have fun in NYC!
